La Familia presents Legacy Barrel

Born in the heart of Big Blue Nation and built by the banners that define Kentucky basketball, La Familia reunites former Wildcats for one mission: to compete, to represent, and to protect the standard. 

Legacy Barrel from La Familia is a spirit that truly speaks to the legacy of Kentucky Basketball.  It starts as a Kentucky Straight Bourbon from one of the oldest and most heralded distilleries in the state, with a mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley.  Then, it is finished with a blend of carefully curated wood staves: ex-Pedro Ximénez Sherry American oak staves and ex-Cognac French oak staves.  This stave finishing gives us a profile of Raspberry Jam Cruller, Apricot Danish, Bold Cinnamon, and Soft Caramel.
